Since yesterday Friday and throughout the day today, the Conference on Spanish Archeology Abroad, in Oviedo, organized by the Association of Independent Professionals of Archeology of Asturias and sponsored by "El Comercio", in which many of them will pay tribute to the late Juan Antonio Fernández-Tresguerres who contributed to the training of young people in this field for more than 20 years.
The conferences were presented yesterday by Juan Muñiz as an apprentice and companion of Tresguerres, Ignacio Alonso and José Antonio Rodríguez, the latter representing the Dominicans since it was the religious order to which Tresguerres belonged.
The main objective of the conference will be the divulgation, for which it will be necessary to put aside the overly specialized language, thus being the first with this task that have been carried out in Spain and facilitating their assistance through free admission.
The conference opened its doors at 5:00 p.m. yesterday, opening with presentations on archaeological work in Africa and today, starting at 10:00 a.m., will focus on the Spanish archeology in the Middle East.
I was born in Madrid on August 27, 1988 and since then I started a work of which there is no example. Fascinated by both numbers and letters and a lover of the unknown, that is why I am a future graduate in Economics and Journalism, interested in understanding life and the forces that have shaped it. Everything is easier, more useful and more exciting if, with a look at our past, we can improve our future and for that… History.
